The Smart Water Filter Companion

Pur represents a personal passion project that I embarked on to bring a touch of modernity to the traditional way of monitoring water filter usage. As a designer, I recognized the need for a digital solution in an increasingly connected world. This led to the concept of an iOS and Apple Watch app designed to keep track of water pitcher filters, effectively replacing the obsolete sticker system.

The genesis of Pur was rooted in a simple yet powerful idea: to develop an app that would seamlessly keep track of the water filter’s status. This concept quickly blossomed into detailed sketches, exploring the potential functionalities and aesthetics of the app. But my creative journey didn’t stop there; I delved into reimagining the Pur logo and brand identity, ensuring that it resonated with the digital era. The design process culminated in the creation of a user-friendly Apple Watch UI, providing convenience and accessibility right on the wrist.
