Empowering Design

The PNC LGBTQ debit card design project was a heartfelt endeavor to create a card that would resonate with values of pride, freedom, and equality. The design featured a rainbow border with the seven colors of the pride flag, symbolizing inclusion and unity. At the forefront was the equality sign, a powerful emblem of equal rights, set against the convergence of the rainbow hues, representing harmony and peace.

The card’s white background was chosen for its association with mental clarity and new beginnings, aiming to inspire a sense of purity and positive action. Although this particular design was not selected, it remains a cherished piece in my portfolio as a Senior Designer at PNC Bank, reflecting a commitment to making a positive impact and fostering empathy through design.
